- Client Portal Brand Color Management via Zoho Creator
- We oftentimes help our clients build portals to interact with their client base via Zoho Creator
- To accomplish this, custom fields were added for each customer to store the hex codes of their primary, secondary, and font colors
- Then, on any custom page in the Creator portal, we can call a function when a user accesses the page to pull these values
- Lastly, we just need to pass those hex-code values to the HTML and CSS that controls page formatting, and we’re able to automatically brand a user’s view of their portal in Creator
Code Share of the Week
- Enable Attachments in Emails and Portal in Inventory/Books
- A quick but useful code that turns on the ability to add attachments.
- Close CRM Deal if All Books Sales Orders are Closed
- If you’re using CRM’s Deals/Potentials but Books/Inventory’s sales orders, it’s not always obvious from the finance suite end when it’s time to mark a CRM deal as closed (especially if you have separate sales and despatch teams).
- Needs to run on sales order edit action. Assumes connections to Books and CRM named “zbooks” and “zcrm” respectively.
