Email Template Management via Zoho Creator
- In this implementation, our goal was to provide a place for our client to create email templates to be sent via Creator that pull in merge data from related CRM records
- In this module, we provide a dropdown field that will actively pull all available fields from the relevant module
- When a field it selected, the proper merge tag value will be displayed
- The user can then copy/paste this value into the rich-text field where the email content will be stored
- Lastly, once the template is finalized, it can be easily sent to customers via a manual trigger as well as automated workflows

Monitoring Changes in Important Fields with Zoho Creator’s “old” Keyword
- When working with Zoho Creator, it’s crucial to keep track of changes made to essential fields in your forms.
- One efficient way to do this is by using the “old” keyword to retrieve the previous value of a field and compare it with the current input. In this code share, we demonstrate how to use the “old” keyword to monitor changes in a field called “Important_Field” and send an email notification when the field is modified.
  - Please note this is only applicable to Zoho Creator – On Validate workflows.
