Implementation of the Week

  • Plaid Integration with Zoho Books/Stripe for easy ACH payment
    • Accepting ACH payments can be a great way to reduce transaction costs, but it can present friction for the customer when attempting to pay
    • Natively, Books/Stripe cannot accept ACH for invoice payments without the customer accessing the client portal in Books and using microdeposits for bank authorization
    • Plaid provides a platform for instant bank authorization via API
    • Using integration with Plaid and Stripe, Stripe can leverage Plaid to provide instant ACH payments
    • Then, plugging Plaid into Zoho Books allows us to present the customer with ACH payment options when opening an Invoice via email, rather than through the client portal
