Implementation of the Week

• Expected Future Stock Reporting via Analytics
  • First, a query table is created to calculate the current Accounting Stock on Hand for all items
  • Then, additional queries were used to join in Sales/Purchase Orders with future Order/Delivery Dates
  • This provides the data structure to forecast stock on hand for specific products on future date periods
  • This data can then be displayed either via pivot or chart views to review predicted future stock levels
