- Zoho Desk Scheduled Function for Automated Deduplication
- Zoho Desk does have the ability to run manual deduplications on Contacts
- However, it is limited to name, and contact information for identifying which Contacts are duplicated
- A scheduled function was created using deluge to identify Contacts based on custom criteria (multiple matching fields)
- Zoho Desk API supports calling the merge function via Deluge, with a list of Contacts to be merged (with one Contact as “Primary)
- This is then set up on a daily basis to identify and resolve duplicates, without loss of data
