Email Validation via Zoho Deluge API call to Clearout.io
- There are email checking/validation plug-ins available for Zoho CRM, but you are unable to control the workflow/triggers for these plug-ins.
- For example, you may want to run this on a schedule every month, which is not possible via a pre-built plug-in
- Clearout.io provides email validation services via spreadsheets, or via an API call
- Stateless function created to check specific email addresses. Then, workflows triggered on create/edit of Leads and Contacts to validate emails
- Scheduled function also configured to run on aging records to confirm email validity for email marketing
