Zenatta 2020 – Year In Review

Zenatta, all things considered, had a good year in 2020. So here is an update on the last twelve crazy months.

Easily, the biggest factor in our success over the past year was our clients and staff. We started the year with our core group; Brett, Tyler, Josh, and Wayne. As we write this we have gone from the 4 to a staff of 11. Here is a pic of 9 of us having our virtual Christmas Party. We are lucky to have Raquel, Greg, Asa, McKay, Skyler, and (not in the picture) Tavin and Hunter, as part of our team.

And we are truly lucky to have added 98 great clients this year. Even though things were tough, we were amazed at the positive attitudes of our clients who turned to us to help them optimize their sales and marketing systems in Zoho. A highlight for us this year was one of our current clients was trying to decide if we would be the right partner for his organization. I gave him a list of 10 current clients as references. This was the reply he got from one of them:

I interviewed several Zoho specialists before contracting with Zenatta. I felt like I was rolling the dice at the time. But having worked with them for over a year and a half now, I can honestly say it was a great pick.

When you schedule a call with them, they get on a web meeting with you and they do the work for you right in front of your very eyes. You can customize it, make changes, ask questions, and all of it is happening as it unfolds before you. For bigger projects, they will take the work offline and turn it around very quickly.

Don’t give this any more thought. Just sign the contract— you’ll be thrilled”

Now that is the reason we get up and come to work in the morning. We want to thank all of our clients and staff for helping make what could have been a very bad year, the complete opposite.

The CRM Zen Show Got Bigger and Better

After recording another 52 shows of the CRM Zen Show in 2020 we wrapped the year up with our First Annual Zenmy Awards. This was our opportunity to recognize the hard-working teams over at Zoho for their amazing work this year.

We also launched a new website dedicated to all things Zoho, crmzen.com. If you want to receive our Weekly newsletter, which covers all the major Zoho news for the week, and which has links to the articles that we talk about during the CRM Zen Show, then please join our mailing list and it will show up in your inbox every Monday.

Webinars and YouTube

This was also the year we decided to launch our YouTube Channel. And we love the results and the amazing feedback we have received. In the past 12 months, the Zenatta YouTube channel went from Zero to:

Those numbers are amazing for us, and they never would have happened without our viewer’s support. And this year, we are going to do even more. We already have 12 new webinars planned out and are launching a new beginner’s guide series, where each month we will make a series of videos covering the basics of a Zoho Application. January’s beginners series will cover Zoho Desk, which was our most popular webinar of the year with over 5K views as of this writing. Our goal this year is to continue building out our resource library of free content to help anyone wanting to expand their knowledge of Zoho.

Looking Ahead

Again, we want to thank Zoho, our amazing clients, and our rockstar team for an incredible 2020. With any luck as 2021 rolls on we will all be able to get together in Austin, TX for Zoholics (One can dream!)

Here’s wishing everyone a happy and productive New Year.

All the best,
Brett Martin & Tyler Colt
