Implementation of the Week
- ZAnalytics/ZInventory For Composite/Component Item Sales Reporting
- In ZInventory, we can use Composite items to create sellable SKUs that are made up of a combination of other SKUs
- That being said, the ability to report on these items natively through ZInventory is relatively limited
- In this implementation, we leveraged ZAnalytics to “unbundle” the sales and purchase data from the Composite level to the Component level
- This allows us to provide reports that distribute sales and cost values down to the Component level, even if sales/purchases were recorded for the Composite item
