• • Zoho Sign and Zoho Books Integration
    • You can now have customers digitally sign estimates. 
    • This is a major little update.  From the release:

• “…your customers can easily accept estimates by digitally signing them through the Client Portal. The signed estimate will then instantly reflect in your Zoho Books account so that you can invoice it.”

• • Backstage is now integrated with Zoho SalesIQ
    • Visitor tracking and chat can now be monitored on your Backstage microsite.  Giving you deeper insight into your event traffic.
  • Unified language & region controls in Writer
    • Super nice update for automating regional settings such as date format, and currency symbols.  
  • One More API V1 to V2 Update
    • Usage of the domain “crm.zoho.com” in v2 APIs

• We highly recommend you use https://www.zohoapis.com as the domain instead of crm.zoho.com, to reap the full benefits of the v2 APIs. 

• Ensure that you specify your domain based on the data center your account is in. For example, if your account is in the EU data center, then your API URL must be https://www.zohoapis.eu.

Notable Mobile Updates

• Zoho Scanner For Android Released
  • This came to iOS a few weeks ago. Scan and send documents for signature from your mobile device.

Implementation of the Week

• Termed payment calculator in Zoho CRM
  • Fields in the Deal for the total payment amount, count of payments, cadence between payments
  • Script triggered on button click in the Deal
  • Subform entries written for each payment, the last line is remainder of the total payment amount
  • Mail merge document created with subform, and send to the customer for digital signature through Zoho Sign
