New accessibility options in Desk include a monochrome mode, color coded or word based required field indicators, an open dyslexic font, and a one click reset for when you’ve gone overboard tweaking the settings.

Zoho Creator: Advanced Metrics for App Engagement Analytics

Creator 6 apps get advanced metrics now, showing which forms, reports, and blueprints people actually use, plus a configurable funnel that tracks records through a multi-step process to spot where things stall out.

Zoho Sign now has its own MCP server so tools like Claude can send templates for signature or check on envelopes, with the recommendation to only turn on the tools you need and never let AI both draft and send a document on its own.

Zoho Recruit: Employee Portal for Internal Job Posting

Recruit is rolling out an employee portal for internal job postings, giving current staff their own separate pipeline to apply for open roles instead of competing through the public career site.

Zoho Calendar: MCP Server for your Business Calendar

Zoho CRM Deluge: Merge State-Specific Writer Templates and Send for E-signature

This one tackles a client need where a questionnaire has to trigger a bundle of state-specific documents for signature, and instead of writing a nightmare of if-then branches for 50 states, the build uses a reference module that maps each state to its required Writer template IDs. When someone submits the questionnaire and lists which states their company operates in, Deluge loops through those states, pulls the matching template IDs, merges each one with the questionnaire data, and stitches all the resulting PDFs into a single Zoho Sign request with the right signers attached. Once that request goes out, the result gets logged back to the CRM record with the sign document ID and request ID so follow-up workflows can tie the signature back to where it started. The real takeaway isn’t the mail merge, it’s the pattern: any time you’re tempted to write a long if-then chain for something that varies by state, role, or person, build a reference module instead so adding the 31st state, or the newest hire’s custom commission split, is just a new record, not a code change.
