Code Share of the Week

  • Creating and Using Previous Fields in Zoho CRM (workaround)
    • This code share introduces a smart workaround for tracking the previous value of a field in Zoho CRM—something the platform doesn’t support out of the box. Using a helper field and a reusable Deluge function, you’ll be able to trigger workflows based on how a value changed, not just what it is now.
  • Triggering Workflow in Zoho Books via Deluge Updates
    • By default, Zoho Books workflows won’t trigger if the update comes from another Books automation via API. This tip shows how to force workflows to run (or skip them) by adding a simple header—X-ZOHO-Execute-CustomFunction—to your API call. Great for making sure your automations fire exactly when and how you want them to.
