Desk to CRM Hand-off Automation for Sales-related Tickets
- In this implementation, our client fields a variety of different types of Tickets in Zoho Desk, where some of those Tickets need to be handed to the sales team
- The sales team may choose to generate a new Deal and Quote based on this communication, or may process a Change Order for an existing Order instead
- To accomplish this, we set up an automation such that, when a “Quote” type Ticket is closed, we first require entry of important data that the sales team needs, then we create a Task in Zoho CRM
- This Task is linked to the Contact and Account, and assigned to the Account Owner
- This Task prompts the sales team to either generate the new Deal, or start the Change Order process

Embedded URL in XML Related List
- This code helps generate a Zoho Books URL with parameters for customer and item details, ensuring accurate data display by encoding special characters.
- It demonstrates how to add parameters to a map, encode the URL, and adjust it for use in XML-related lists.
- The final output is a clickable XML link that filters Zoho Books invoices based on the specified criteria.
