Implementation of the Week

• Zoho CRM & Cliq Integration to Generate Channels for New Deals
  • In this implementation, our client is using the Deals module to manage long-term and high-touch sales opportunities
  • They also use Cliq to manage all internal communications
  • Our goal in this implementation was to give them a dedicated space to discuss an ongoing Deal in Cliq automatically once a Deal is created
  • To accomplish this, we set up a workflow+function in Zoho CRM that creates new unique Cliq channel for each Deal upon creation
  • We can dynamically set the name of the channel based on the Deal and Account information. 
  • Our next step will be to dynamically assign users to the channel based on specifications related to the Deal

Code Share of the Week

• Relate Project to Estimate in QuickBooks
  • Sometimes, when we create an estimate in Quickbooks, we need to link it to a project within Quickbooks. To do this, we have to search for the project and obtain its ID. Quickbooks considers projects as Customers, so if we want to locate the project by its name, we must query a Customer.
