  • PSA – MA 1.0 -> 2.0 Sync Issues
    • Shoutout to John Bloomfield for sharing this issue. Zoho announced a new migration process last week for those still stuck on Marketing Automation 1.0 to 2.0. However, it seems there are some bugs with this process, so you might want to hold off a little bit longer or at least read about the issues John found.
  • Zoho Thrive UI Enhancements
    • A handful of UI enhancements and additions, including new dedicated module views for Affiliates and Loyalty programs.
  • Zoho Desk Accessibility Enhancements 
    • Great job, Zoho Desk team! There is a new enhanced menu for accessibility features, along with three new features: Focus Ring, Page Navigator, and Skip to Main Content.
  • Zoho Inventory Q1/Q2 Updates
    • We’ve covered most of these in previous episodes, but one notable update is the UPS 2.0 Shipping integration.
  • Zoho Social May Updates
    • There are some great new updates this month, including the ability to manage your TikTok messages in Zoho Social, a new round-robin feature for comments, and Google My Business product offering features. Also, check out the social sessions!
  • Zoho Recruit PSA – Indeed retires support for free job postings
    • This update mainly affects staffing agencies. Indeed now requires these agencies to pay for their job postings.

Implementation of the Week

  • Asset Tracking in Zoho CRM, Desk, and FSM
    • In this implementation, our goal was to provide the client a way to track Tickets against specific Assets purchased by the client across applications.
    • To accomplish this, we first created a custom module in Zoho CRM and Desk to store the Asset data. FSM has an Asset module by default.
    • Then, we configured a function such that, once the Asset is logged in Zoho CRM the client can press a button to push the completed Asset data to Desk and FSM.
    • Lastly, upon creation of Assets in Desk and FSM, we bring back the Asset IDs from those apps back into CRM for future integration usage.
    • This allows our client to work Tickets, and create/schedule Work Orders against those Assets in Desk/FSM.

Code Share of the Week

  • Automating Zoho Invoice ACH Payment Checkbox Using Analytics and CRM
    • Using Zoho Analytics, Zoho CRM, and Deluge scripting, automate the “Pay via Bank Account” field in Zoho Invoice to mark it as enabled.
    • Pull relevant data from Zoho Invoice into Zoho Analytics, schedule regular data imports, and create a query table to identify customers without bank account payment enabled.
    • Use custom functions in Zoho CRM to export data from Zoho Analytics, retrieve and process the data, and update Zoho Invoice records through API calls, ensuring bank account payments are marked as supported for the identified customers.
