Implementation of the Week
- Custom Proposal Generation App via Creator // CRM
- In this implementation, we fielded a request to be able to easily send out a variety of templates, and dynamically request additional information from the user based on the template type.
- To accomplish this, the team created a Creator Form related to the CRM Contact. This form shows up as a related list in the CRM.
- When opening this form related to a Contact, all of the primary contact information pulls into the form.
- The user then selects a template and fills out any other additional information that is shown based on the template choice.
- Once completed, the user is presented with an option to preview the document, as well as attach it to the CRM Contact, and/or send for signature.
Code Share of the Week
- Sync CRM Notes (from ALL modules) to Analytics
- Zoho Analytics is a great tool, and we all love it, but some data sources lack crucial information in the sync.
- It’s the case of CRM Notes that, because it’s not an actual module, can’t be synced via the out-of-the-box connection. You might want to report on how many notes are created by the user, or want to know what was the latest note recorded on a record, but without Notes data, you just can’t have it in a pretty Analytics Report or Dashboard.
- To get around that, we use some Deluge and leverage Zoho CRM’s schedules and Zoho Analytics API to make it happen!
