• Zoho Desk iOS mobile app now supports Approvals
  • Approvals are a pretty big part of Desk, so nice to see them available on the mobile app.
• Zoho Opens New Office in South Texas
  • Zoho living by what they preach “transnational localism”.
• Zoho Assist Adds Augmented Reality
  • Nice addition, sort of bringing Lens into Assist but on desktop.
• Tags are now available for Zoho CRM Sandbox
  • One of the few things missing from the Sandbox.  Also, a bonus tip, don’t push everything live at the same time when working in the Sandbox.
• PSA -Zoho Desk Changes Help Center URL Domain
  • A minor change but you will want to let your clients know the new URL link to your help desk portal.
    

Implementation of the Week

• Zoho Inventory – Automated Package Generation on Invoice Payment
  • In Inventory, the Sales Order record serves to link Invoices and Shipments for a specific transaction
  • Oftentimes, clients of ours don’t want the shipping team to package and ship an order until Invoice payment is received
  • In this implementation, we set up a custom function that triggers on Invoice payment to generate a Package for the items that are now paid
  • If the Invoice is only for some of the items on the Sales Order, the Package is only generated for these Items
