The CRM Zen Show Episode 140 – The Price Is Right

Zoho Pricing Change Announcement

As you may have heard, Zoho announced some pricing changes today. If you’re already a client, you will not be affected until January 17, 2022, at which time you will receive a 15% increase to your current rates.  Here are the details:

1. For NEW signups, the pricing will apply on April 5, 2021.

2. For anyone who has signed up for a Zoho product before April 5, 2021, the old price will remain in effect until January 17, 2022.
3. If you are on a trial of Zoho before April 5, 2021, and you complete your purchase by April 30, 2021, then the old pricing will remain in effect until January 17, 2022.
4. For ALL existing clients who meet the requirements of 2 or 3, on January 17, 2022, they will receive a flat 15% increase to their current rates.
   NOTE: This pricing will be LOWER than the new rates that go into effect on
   1. April 5, 2021. Example:
      1. The current Zoho One All Employee Pricing paid monthly is $35 per user / per month.
         -The new price on April 5, 2021, will be $45 per user / per month. 
         -IF you are a customer that meets conditions 2 or 3, then your new rate on January 17, 2022, will be $40.25 per user /per month.  ($35 * 15% Increase)
5. If you are on a Monthly Plan under conditions 2 or 3, you may upgrade this plan to an annual plan any time before January 17, 2022, and lock in the old rate for an additional year.  Example:
   1. If you had 10 employees on all employee pricing, you would be paying $350 per month or $4200 over the course of a year.
   2. If you changed your plan to Annual on January 15, 2021, you will get the old annual rate of $360 a year per employee.  So you will pay $3,600 for your 10 employees for 2021 and not see a rate increase until January 15, 2023.
   3. On January 15, 2023, your new annual rate for the 10 employees will reflect the 15% increase and go up to $4,140.

• Zoho Vault Revamps Chrome & Firefox Extensions
  • 
    This latest enhancement update improves UI, password autofill, and overall performance.

    Here is a quick customer survey report by Zoho Vault covering working remotely and cyber threats.
• Zoho CRM Adds Custom Subform For Inventory Modules
  • You can now create a custom subform across the Inventory Modules with the limit of one subform per module.  A total of 200 rows in both subforms can be added.
• LinkMatch for Zoho CRM Now Has A Pro Plan
  • 
    This latest addition allows you to autosave your LinkedIn messages as Notes into your Zoho CRM.
• Zoho Show iOS App Redesigned
  • This latest update includes a new UI, review tab, and recent views. 
    
• Zia’s NLP-Based Hawking Date/Time Parser Is Now Open Source
  • For developers this now allows them to use the Hawking Parser to decipher time stamps and interpret dates without having to reinvent the wheel every time.
• Zoho Desk Prepares To Update Ticket ID
  • 
    This upcoming update will change Ticket ID from numerical to alphanumerical values.  You will also be able to change a Prefix/Suffix to your Ticket ID.
• Zoho Campaigns Update Reversed

Implementation of the Week

• Automated Delivery of Confidential Information via CRM following NDA signature in Zoho Sign
  • Custom function created to send Zoho Sign NDA’s out for specific Deal records within CRM
  • On signature of NDA, Zoho Sign webhook returns confirmation of signature to CRM Deal
  • Once a signature is confirmed, a deluge function is triggered to select a specific attachment to that Deal (matching on a naming convention), and send it via a CRM email template (using CRM API V2.1 actions)
