Zoho CRM: Layout Rules Enhancements
Layout rules just picked up nine new actions, from setting fields read-only and recommending values to popping messages and showing buttons or related lists, plus profile-based execution, which quietly turns them into a Swiss Army knife that absorbs work you used to hand off to validation rules, dependency fields, and client scripts.
Zoho CRM: Sandbox Integration Support
Sandboxes finally play nice with integrations, now covering Campaigns, Analytics, Finance, Forms, Flow, Creator, and more, so you can stage complex multi-app changes without flying blind, just keep in mind the sandbox still points at your live Finance and Flow.
Zoho CRM: Quotes, Sales Orders, and Invoices for Services
If you actually use the Services module, you can now draft quotes, sales orders, and invoices from it, though in practice we usually just flag an item as a service inside Products so the Books integration never leaves anything stranded.
Zoho Bigin: Payment Link Automation Enhancements
Bigin can now fire off a payment link straight from a workflow action when a deal hits the right stage, no Deluge required, and it works with any gateway Zoho Checkout supports, just make sure an invoice still lands in your accounting system somewhere.
Zoho Writer: Conditional Logic and AI Formula Assistance
Writer’s merge formulas gained conditional logic, a batch of Excel-style string functions, and an AI helper that turns plain-English descriptions into proper formula syntax, handy for tidying up text even if you’ll still keep your rate math on the deal record.
Zoho Sign: Document Visibility for Multi-Document Envelopes
Niche but a real gap-filler, Sign now lets you control which documents each recipient sees inside a single multi-document envelope, so an HR onboarding packet can route the offer letter, payroll form, and policy agreement to the right people instead of three separate requests.
Zoho Inventory: June 2026 Inventory and Fulfillment Enhancements
June’s Inventory wrap-up brings package types, a new Windows desktop app, combined batch and serial tracking for cases like compounding pharmacies, and early-access Mercado Libre integration that’s a big deal for our South American listeners.
Zoho Sprints: Q2 2026 Updates
A good reminder that Sprints exists, Q2 adds test case exports, sharper capacity planning, Search with Zia, and a Google Drive extension, and it still pairs nicely with Projects when part of a job fits an agile flow better than a Gantt chart.
Zoho CRM: Custom Button Creation from Layout Editor
Admins can now add, reorder, and remove custom buttons right from the layout editor’s element palette instead of the separate Buttons tab, and buttons on the record page now follow that layout order with pinning and sorting for users.
Zoho Bigin: Q2 2026 Updates
Bigin’s Q2 roundup is stacked, with three new Zia Agents (Reply Assistant, Churn Analyzer, and CrossSell Genie), a Product Catalog that turns your product list into a payable storefront, one-click record and thread summaries, and workflows that can send mass emails and pull dynamic values from related modules.
Zoho Creator: Widget JS API CDN URL Deadline Extension
Consider this the final notice, Zoho pushed the deadline for migrating widgets off the old js.zohostatic.com CDN URLs to July 31, 2026, after which anything still on the old URLs stops working, so swap in the new static.zohocdn.com endpoints now.
Zoho Payroll: Run Payroll in Batches Using Pay Groups
New Pay Groups let you process payroll separately for employees on the same pay schedule, grouped by work location, department, employee type, or reporting tag, so one group with pending inputs no longer holds up everyone’s paychecks.
Zoho Billing: June 2026 Subscription and Expense Enhancements
June’s Billing update adds one-time addon quotes you can raise straight from an active subscription, bulk import for item subscriptions, customizable PDF templates for expenses, and custom field usage tracking so you can gauge the impact before editing a field.
Zoho People: Introducing the Benefits Module
People’s new Benefits module walks the whole lifecycle in one place, from defining categories and providers to building plans, setting eligibility and enrollment windows, and letting employees self-enroll, though for now it’s US organizations only and enabled on request.
Zoho Workplace: June 2026 Product Updates
June’s Workplace roundup spans the suite, with Google Calendar free/busy interoperability, email translation and a new spam-detection rule condition in Mail, AI image summaries in Cliq, and Writer Desktop 4.0 landing with Markdown support and WCAG 2.2 compliance.
Zoho Backstage: June 2026 Event Management Enhancements
Backstage’s June update targets group bookings, letting purchasers reserve tickets first and share claim links so attendees fill in their own details later, plus PayNow and GrabPay support, auto-recharge for WhatsApp credits, and more flexible ticket display on your event site.
Zoho Webinar: Free Plan Attendee Limit Update
Heads up for free-tier users, Zoho Webinar dropped the Free plan attendee limit from 100 down to 20, so if your sessions regularly draw a bigger crowd you’ll need a paid plan to keep hosting them.
Zoho Bookings: SEO Settings for Booking Pages
Booking pages now have SEO settings across all page types, so you can set a custom title, keywords, and meta description, enable search indexing, and add a favicon, just note that turning on indexing changes the page URL.

Sync Zoho CRM Account to Books and FSM
This one comes from Shelby Jensen, one of Zenatta’s newest team members, who got handed the classic three-system headache where a record might have its Books info but not its FSM info, or the other way around, depending on where it was first created. The function takes a CRM account ID and uses the Books import API to either create the customer or return the existing ID, tying it back to the CRM record automatically and even pulling related contacts across as contact persons when you run it at the account level. FSM does not offer anything nearly as slick, so here it pages through companies (up to six pages of 200) and matches on either the exact CRM account name or the Zoho billing ID that the finance integration stamps on synced records, then creates or updates the FSM company and returns the ID. Think of it as a safety net that keeps CRM, Books, and FSM all pointing at each other instead of drifting apart. One thing to keep in mind, it runs against your live data, so treat it accordingly.
