How to Set Next Activity Date in Zoho CRM

In this implementation, Tyler shows how to populate the most current activity date in its own field.  Here are some of the key points from the video:

• “Next Activity Date” field automation in Deals module for easy Activity-based management of Deals.
• “Next Activity Date” field added to Deals module.
• On Create, Update, or Delete of a Task, Event, or Call script is triggered.
• The script reads the “Open Activities” related list in the Deal, consolidates Task Due Date, Event Date, and Call Start Time (for scheduled Calls) into one list.
• The script identifies the soonest upcoming date and writes this “Next Activity Date” into the field in the Deal.
• The field can be used in Deals list view to sort Deals by soonest Next Activity.
