Deluge to Create Pre-Populated Form URL (Zoho CRM) – Implementation 2020

This implementation allows us to automatically create a custom Form URL for each Contact that pre-fills the Form with data from the record.

It’s mainly useful for two reasons:

  1. Pre-filling information for your customer provides better service, and
  2. Pre-filling the email allows us to ensure that the email they use is the one we have on file

Because we can force the match of email on the Form to the email in the CRM, we’re able to integrate these form submissions much more consistently.

Key functions/features of this Implementation:

  • Use Zoho Deluge in Zoho CRM to create personalized Form links
  • Zoho Forms can accept custom URLs to prepopulate fields on Form
  • Deluge script creates custom links in URL fields in CRM record
  • Custom URLs open Service Request Forms with first name, last name, email address prepopulated
  • Custom URLs can be embedded in CRM email templates for easy delivery
  • Prevents duplicate values generated by potential typos or edits to email addresses in Forms
