Implementation of the Week
- Salesforce File Migration into CRM-linked WorkDrive Folders
- In this implementation, our goal was to migrate Files exported from Salesforce into Workdrive folders created for each Zoho CRM Account record
- To accomplish this, we first made sure to include Salesforce ID in all Zoho CRM records during the initial import
- Then, we set up a function to create Workdrive folders for each Account
- Next, we loaded all of the Files into a Team Folder in WorkDrive. Each File is named based on the File ID from Salesforce
- Then, we created a master SQL table in Analytics, rolling up all child records of a CRM Account to the CRM Account ID
- Lastly, we configured a scheduled Deluge function to move and rename the Workdrive folders based on our CRM Account ID roll-up
Code Share of the Week
- Functionality to Dynamically Add and Remove Tags from a Deal
- This function automatically adds or removes tags from a Deal based on updates to a “Task Step” field. The idea is to keep Deal tags synchronized, replacing the tag for the current step with “Completed” as the step is updated.
