Implementation of the Week

• Zoho Inventory Automated Invoicing upon Shipment to Customer
  • In many cases, our clients using Zoho Inventory will request that when an Invoice is paid, we automate a Package record for that Sales Order to kick-off the fulfillment process
  • For this client, however, the process needed to be reversed to match their business requirements. Instead, our goal is to Invoice for Products upon Shipment
  • To accomplish this, we set up a workflow + function in Zoho Inventory that triggers each time a Shipment is created
  • This function checks for the Products on that Shipment, and creates an Invoice related to the appropriate Sales Order for ONLY those Products. This way, we are only Invoicing for shipped Products
