Implementation of the Week

• Zoho Forms Integration to Zoho CRM “Form Submissions” Custom Module
  • In this implementation, our goal was to create a webform-to-CRM integration using Zoho Forms, but build it in such a way that our client would be able to easily track multiple form submissions over time for one Lead/Contact
  • To accomplish this, we first built a “Form Submissions” module in CRM where all webform submissions would be routed (via the native Zoho Forms -> Zoho CRM integration)
  • Each time that a Form Submission record is created, we trigger a custom workflow + function that will check Contacts, then Leads to see if that record already exists (matching on email address)
  • If a Contact/Lead already exists, the Form Submission is linked to that record. If no Contact/Lead exists, a new Lead is created instead.
  • Lastly, we set up a quick function that transfers these Form Submission records from Lead to Contact upon conversion of that Lead in CRM

Code Share of the Week

• Split Document By Pages with Zoho Writer API
  • Sometimes, we need to split a PDF document by selected pages. The problem is that there is currently no native Zoho API to help us with this. However, this is not entirely true. We can achieve this using the Combine PDF’s Writer API.
