Implementation of the Week

  • Zoho CRM Automated Alerts Custom Module to Allow Users to Easily Configure Custom Workflow Automations
    • In this implementation, our goal was to provide our customer with an easy way to manage automated actions triggering in the Deals module of their CRM
    • These rules need to either add Tags, add Notes, or send Emails based on the create and/or edit of the Deal record matching certain criteria
    • To accomplish this, we first created an “Automated Alerts” custom module that allows the users to define the trigger condition, criteria, and outcome using field data
    • Then, we set up automated workflow functions that check against this Automated Alerts module, find matching criteria, and proceed accordingly based on the rules defined

Code Share of the Week

  • Prevent Re-Opening of Closed Tickets in Desk
    • This implementation will make it so that if a customer replies to a closed ticket, rather than that reply being added to the thread of an existing ticket (causing it to re-open), it will instead create a whole new ticket for that customer with their new reply.
