Implementation of the Week
- Automated Call Summary Generation via Zoho CRM, Phonebridge, & OpenAI/ChatGPT
- In this implementation, our goal was to build out an automation (leveraging Zoho Phonebridge call data) to automatically create Call summaries via OpenAI
- To accomplish this, we first integrate the VoIP option into Zoho by connecting to Phonebridge
- This gives you the option of “storing” the recording URL in the CRM Call record
- This linking data gives us the necessary information to grab the full recording (.mp3 file) from the telephony provider (in most cases) via API
- Then, our function sends this .mp3 file to ChatGPT with instructions to respond with a formatted summary of the Call
- This call summary can be stored in the CRM, or even sent directly to the Call participant via an email
