Doorwayz Unlimited is a commercial door distributor headquartered in Schaumburg, IL. With a team of 16 employees, the company supplies doors and hardware for multifamily projects, office buildouts, and industrial facilities. They sell nationwide and pride themselves on reliable service and high-quality products. To improve reporting accuracy and streamline project management, Doorwayz partnered with Zenatta to optimize their Zoho One environment.

The Challenge

Before working with Zenatta, Doorwayz struggled with their CRM and project processes. Previous consultants insisted that requested changes were either impossible or would take 10+ hours of development. Their provider also required a minimum block of monthly hours and restricted all changes to its own team, which created dependency and drove up costs.

The Implementation

Zenatta partnered with Doorwayz to design a streamlined, automated workflow across their Zoho One environment. The focus was on reducing manual work, ensuring accountability, and improving the handoff between sales and project teams.

Stage-Based Automations

At key deal stages, automations now trigger tasks, notifications, and follow-up actions. This structure removes the need for manual reminders and ensures important steps happen on time.

Email & Task Automations

Email notifications keep team members informed at critical points. Custom “easy buttons” in the CRM allow staff to create tasks instantly, saving time and reducing friction.

Call Management Enhancements

To strengthen follow-up processes, Zenatta implemented call automations that create new follow-up calls based on call outcomes. This proactive structure helped Doorwayz maintain consistent communication with clients without relying on manual scheduling.

Project Handoff Automations

When deals reach the “closed won” stage, the system creates a new Zoho Project and passes in all relevant deal information. Each project links automatically with the original deal and account, giving the team a complete connected record view.

WorkDrive Integration

To keep documents organized, Zenatta tied a custom WorkDrive folder structure to deals. Every new deal generates a predefined set of folders, giving the team consistent storage and easy access to project files.

By combining these automations with hands-on training and detailed video recaps, Zenatta empowered Doorwayz with both efficient processes and the knowledge to manage their system independently.

The Results
