Communication Partners Inc. is a custom communications firm, focusing solely on benefits and HR communications. They produce benefit guides and other print materials and videos, microsites, mobile apps, and digital media. CPI has 15 employees and is headquartered in San Diego.
We transitioned from Asana to Zoho in early 2021 because of the growth potential. However, without a dedicated person to handle the implementation, we were limited in knowledge and time. Our limitations were not allowing us to use Zoho to its fullest potential, particularly regarding integrations and building out flows specific to our company.Kate Anawaty – Executive Vice President of Operations
As mentioned above, with the transition from Asana to Zoho, one task was transitioning their previous internal project management solution over to Zoho. As most of you know Zoho One includes a lot more than just Projects, so this implementation contained several applications to make their new workflow fit their business model.
Besides setting up Projects to match their flow with Asana, their previous internal communication was Slack. One of the implementations we did was setting up Project notifications inside Cliq. Whenever a task or comment was added to a Project, a Cliq notification would alert the proper team members or channel. Thus allowing an increased flow in productivity. Speaking of flow, this implementation was built through Zoho Flow.
Next, good project management requires good data. With Zoho Analytics the Zenatta team built out a few different dashboards for admin reporting on Task Updates, Hours Spent, and Project Summaries. All of these dashboards have various user filters set up to report on different metrics with proper filtering, allowing for easy dive downs of data.
Lastly, the team created a Survey for client feedback that integrates with the CRM. This Survey links feedback records to the related company and contact. We used a survey instead of a form because answers may need to be updated which allows them to send a prepopulated survey.
The Cliq/Projects integration has been of utmost importance during CPI’s busy season. Zenatta was able to refine team member’s notifications, reducing noise and helping us be more efficient.
