To modernize their operations, Classic Homes partnered with Zenatta to rebuild their outdated contract generation system—previously based on a legacy Ruby on Rails platform—into a centralized, automated solution powered by Zoho CRM, Zoho Writer, and Zoho Sign.
The Challenge
For years, Classic Homes relied on an aging in-house “Sales System” to produce contract summaries and final agreements. Built on Ruby on Rails and outdated APIs, this system had become unstable and difficult to maintain, creating inefficiencies in their sales and contracting workflows.

This solution streamlined the end-to-end process—from client data capture to contract signing—while ensuring flexibility for custom home configurations.
- Comprehensive CRM Contract Builder: Zenatta built a powerful contract generation function inside Zoho CRM’s Deals module, tailored to Classic Homes’ sales process and pricing model.
- Subforms for Detailed Project Data: Two specialized subforms were created—one for base model details and another for individual customizations. Together, they capture every design element and automatically calculate pricing totals.
- Automated Document Generation: A custom button triggers a Zoho Writer mail merge, generating complete contract documents that include structural breakdowns, model details, and itemized costs—all within seconds.
- Zoho Writer & Sign Integration: Contracts are automatically formatted and routed through Zoho Sign for digital execution, ensuring secure and compliant client agreements.
- WorkDrive & Data Centralization: All generated documents are stored in the appropriate WorkDrive folders linked to their CRM records, ensuring organization-wide visibility and easy access.
