Hiding something like a social security number down to the last four used to mean client scripts and other funky workarounds, and now it is a field setting with full or custom masking options. Just know it is a UI-level thing only, so your data sharing, export, and HIPAA settings still have to do the real work.

Zoho CRM: Incentives for Sales Commission Management

Commission plans get a pre-baked home inside CRM covering revenue, profit, quota attainment, and line item tiers, which probably handles 80 to 90% of the structures out there before you need a SQL table. Process Large Zoho Analytics Record Updates in Batches Using Deluge

Andrew is back with a batching routine that pulls a record list out of an Analytics view, slices it into offsets, and loops the updates through in chunks. Two use cases worth calling out: syncing data from a third-party tool that has no pre-built connector, and running a mass update in CRM or Books where the logic behind each record is too involved for a plain import. Every row update gets wrapped in its own try/catch, so one bad comma in row 412 does not torch the other 899, and the failures come back in a list you can rerun. It closes with an info statement logging the run number, rows updated, and error count, which now shows up properly in the CRM function logs. Note it uses the standard bulk export, so SQL tables and dashboards need the asynchronous call instead, though it is usually faster to just build a pivot table and point this at that.
