- Zoho CRM: Enhanced Approval Process for Greater Control and Flexibility
- It’s been a long time since we’ve seen an update to the approval process, but these enhancements are definitely welcomed. You can now edit records within the approval process, have more flexibility with role/group-based approvals, and, best of all, edit a record that is pending approval.
- Zoho CRM: Subform Events and Client Script Enhancements
- Previously, you had to update the entire subform at once, and triggering client scripts from a subform wasn’t possible. This update fixes that limitation. If you notice something still isn’t triggering, you may need to contact Zoho support.
- Zoho Books: January’25 Updates
- There were a couple of invoicing and tax updates for Germany. Workflow rules now allow field comparison as criteria—something we’d love to see in Zoho CRM as well. Other updates include the ability to send emails using custom SMTP servers and better handling of SKU duplication in CRM integration.
- Zoho Desk: Restructured Company Information Page
- The Company Information Page has been divided into distinct sections, and a logo field has been added.
- Zoho SalesIQ: Reopen Closed Channel Chats
- A nice QOL enhancement that allows users to reopen chats in case they forgot something.
- Zoho Writer: Enhanced Merge APIs for Automated Document Generation
- This feature was initially rolled out for CRM, and it’s now expanding to other applications that use the Merge functionality.
- Zoho Social: January’25 Updates
- You can now publish images directly to TikTok. The Message Tab now allows users to send audio and video messages.
- Zoho Marketing Automation: Bot Filtering & Apple Mail Privacy Protection Compliance
- Bot-generated behaviors, such as checking every link for viruses, can now be filtered out. This improves reporting accuracy and prevents broken scoring. This feature should be coming to Zoho Campaigns in the next few weeks.
- Zoho MA: Snowflake Integration
- Zoho Marketing Automation now integrates with Snowflake.
- Mobile Updates
- Zoho Projects (Mobile)
- Users can now add time logs in offline mode.
- Zoho Desk: iOS (v2.9.4)
- A rich text editor has been added.
- Zoho Desk: Android (v2.7.2)
- You can now send WhatsApp messages directly from the Contacts Detail screen.
