Implementation of the Week

• Desk to CRM Hand-off Automation for Sales-related Tickets
  • In this implementation, our client fields a variety of different types of Tickets in Zoho Desk, where some of those Tickets need to be handed to the sales team
  • The sales team may choose to generate a new Deal and Quote based on this communication, or may process a Change Order for an existing Order instead
  • To accomplish this, we set up an automation such that, when a “Quote” type Ticket is closed, we first require entry of important data that the sales team needs, then we create a Task in Zoho CRM
  • This Task is linked to the Contact and Account, and assigned to the Account Owner
  • This Task prompts the sales team to either generate the new Deal, or start the Change Order process
